A Beginner's Guide to Strength Training

Strength training is simply asking your muscles to work against resistance, then giving them time to adapt. You don't need a perfect program to begin — you need a repeatable one.
Start with a handful of foundational patterns: a squat, a hinge, a push, a pull, and a carry. Two to three full-body sessions per week is plenty.
Choose a weight you can lift with good form for the target reps, leaving one or two reps 'in the tank'. Write it down. Next week, try a little more.
